1. Acceptance of Terms

By using COI File ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

COI File provides certificate of insurance tracking software. The Service includes features such as AI-powered COI extraction, expiration alerts, compliance dashboards, and vendor upload portals.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Free Plan

The Free plan allows you to track up to 5 vendors at no cost. There is no time limit. No credit card is required. We may modify Free plan limits with 30 days' notice.

5. Paid Plans

Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

6. Your Data

You own your data. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising purposes. You can export all your data at any time. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Upload content that violates any third party's intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited commercial email

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

COI File is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. In no event shall COI File be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless COI File from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.
